Dams
Dams

There are thousands of regulated dams across North Carolina. Some are owned by government entities, some are owned by private entities – but all are useful in stormwater management, and many impound lakes that support high property values (to the benefit of the local governments as well as the local property owners). So when a dam fails, or needs maintenance, there may be reasons why the local government wants to participate in that project. We have helped Hope Mills finance improvements and repairs to its own dam, and helped Richmond County repair a privately-owned dam.  Click here and let us know if you’d like to talk about a dam project in your locality.
