Law Clerk

I have become accustomed to wearing a multitude of hats from athlete, musician, and lawncare specialist to prospective lawyer. I will be a first-generation lawyer who is of the generation that believes, with the help of the Internet and mostly YouTube, anything can be accomplished. In college at East Carolina University, I gained an awareness of past events and their importance in the present. My studies also granted me an understanding of a diverse multitude of human beings around the world.

I was born and raised by the river in the coastal plains of our beautiful state. I remained in the native land of the Pamlico and Tuscarora tribes until I decided to pursue the study of law. Once I moved to the Triangle to attend North Carolina Central University School of Law, my interest in the legal area developed into a burning passion. My deep desire to help others has allowed me to fall in love with obtaining positive results for clients.

As a law clerk at Sanford and Holshouser, I will be working primarily in our affordable housing practice, and chipping in on other projects from time to time. I hope to learn from experienced, successful professionals, contribute positively to the team’s efforts, and continue my growth into becoming the best lawyer I can be.

When free time decides to pay a visit in my life, I enjoy athletics, music, and tagging along on “mutual” shopping outings with my fiancé Jamie. In the event I am without an indoor obligation, I can be found outside doing something under the sun or moon.
